Combining engineering expertise with industry experience and the drive to disrupt how materials are used in infrastructure construction, the ORIS management team works towards a more sustainable future.


Nicolas is an engineer and has extensive experience in the road industry from site engineering to international contracting and business development. He is the co-founder of ORIS and its CEO. Aside from sustainable road pavement designs, he is passionate about fusion-jazz musics and enjoys sailing on the Atlantic coast.


Renaud holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and has extensive experience in road construction, from traditional designs to their digital visualization. He is the co-founder of ORIS and its COO. Living innovation as a journey, you might see him ski touring in the mountains or setting the game on a volleyball field.


Caroline has more than 10 years of experience in human resources in pharmaceutical industries. She is responsible for human resources, compliance and all administration subjects for ORIS. Besides her enthusiasm and her hiking travel passion, you may be surprised by her maine coons walking by during video meetings.


Mohsen is a civil engineer holding an Executive MBA and a Ph.D. in pavement materials and has held multiple managerial, technical, innovation and business development roles in the field of roads, infrastructure and construction materials. He is the Director of ORIS operations in France. Entrepreneurship is a non-stopping passion for Mohsen and when not talking business, you can find him playing with his daughters, cooking, traveling or writing.


Alain is a civil engineer with a masters in material science for sustainable construction. He is Project Engineer Consulting at ORIS. As a scout for 16 years, he enjoys camping and discovering new places during his free time and is also passionate about football.



Hugo is a civil engineer and has extensive experience in road construction and public works from construction sites to engineering consulting firms. He is the ORIS project manager in charge of the consulting offer. Passionate about sustainable and innovative infrastructure projects, he enjoys playing and refereeing field hockey but when he is far from the field hockey pitches, you might meet him in a high mountain refuge after a long day of trekk.


Oliver is a Geologist and has extensive experience in the mining industry, especially in the Aggregates business, working in various roles (mainly quality and product related) in the industry, both in Norway and Germany. He is country lead for Germany and responsible for the introduction of ORIS in Germany as first country worldwide. His goal is to use and re-use natural resources in the smartest and most sustainable way. In his free time Oliver enjoys sports (rowing, swimming, jogging) and beekeeping.


Elodie has more than 10 years of experience in communications and public affairs in the building materials sector as well as in the hospitality industry. She is responsible for communication and government engagement for ORIS. While sustainable businesses are her professional drive, sewing her kids’s clothes and growing tomatoes on her balcony are her weekend passions.



Florian brings over 10 years in applying strategic thinking and entrepreneurial methods to support corporations and ventures to successfully define and manage their path through the digital area and reinvent business models to stay ahead of the competition. When not thinking about growing professionally or personally, he is mostly found in nature doing all different kinds of sport with his friends.


Trevor has over 20 years experience in Digital and has worked for IBM for 7 years supporting clients in the industrial and distribution sectors. Working with ORIS since the start of the collaboration with IBM Trevor has been responsible for high-level design and is currently also acting head of UK operations. Outside of the digital world you will find him deep underwater as a technical diver or high up the Swiss mountains.


Lisa holds a MSc degree in Innovation Management and has been working in agile IT development for the past 5 years. She is working as a Product Manager at ORIS focusing on integrating user and market needs - while focusing almost all her holidays on going hiking or skiing.


André is a software architect with more than 7 years experience in cloud-native platform development and operations to accelerate new digital businesses. He is responsible for the technical solution of the ORIS. In addition to his enthusiasm for digital, sustainable solutions, he enjoys spending time playing guitar or playing soccer.


Victor has a master's degree in computer development, and works at ORIS as a web developer. He loves working with the most efficient and latest development technologies. When he is not behind his screen, you might see him riding his bike in the mountains.



SUPERVISORY BOARD
ORIS was founded by Holcim as an independent business unit in 2021. It is run under strict governance rules - including a balanced board of directors - that enable its service neutrality and data management.


Magali is Chief Sustainability and Innovation Officer at Holcim. She joined the company in 2016 as Group Head of Health & Safety. Magali started her career as a field engineer on offshore oil rigs in Nigeria. She spent 27 years in the Oil and Gas industry, mainly with Schlumberger, holding operational line management positions like CEO Angola and Region Head Europe. During her career she also held several functional roles, including Vice President Marketing & Sales, Vice President Shared Services Organization for the Europe and Africa region and Global Head of Maintenance. Magali graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from INSA Lyon, France.


Edelio Bermejo is Group Head of R&D and IP at Holcim. With 26 years of experience in the cement industry in product development, marketing and operations, Edelio Bermejo was CEO of a cluster of 11 countries for six years before taking over as Head of the Holcim Innovation Center. In this role, he was responsible for developing new international markets, implementing differentiation strategies adapted to local needs, and entering into numerous partnerships. He holds a PhD in materials science and is a dual French-Spanish citizen.


Karine Uzan Mercié has spent most of her career in corporate finance. She is currently the Group Head of Tax for Holcim, after working for the Coca-Cola Group where she held various positions within finance (Group Director of Strategic Projects, Group Head of Tax, Treasurer Europe, CFO Europe). She also served as the Head of Public Affairs and Communication for Coca-Cola France. Prior to that, she was the Head of Tax of Alstom Group. She began her career with Ernst and Young and is a lawyer at the Paris Bar. She is the founder of Puissance Elles, a foundation dedicated to supporting girls from disadvantaged social backgrounds. Karine Uzan Mercie has been knighted by the French Minister of Finance.


Susanna Zammataro is Director General of the International Road Federation (IRF), based in Geneva, Switzerland. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for the organization, which represents leading corporate and institutional players drawn from the road and mobility sectors worldwide. Its mission is to promote the development of roads and road networks that enable access and sustainable mobility for all www.irfnet.ch
Named as one of the 40 Most Remarkable Women in Transport by TUMI, She is an untiring advocate for road safety. She is a member of the Advisory Board of the FIA High Level Panel on Road Safety and serving since 2012 as Chairperson of the “Safer Roads and Mobility” Pillar of the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration Group (UNRSC). Susanna has been involved since its inception in the Sustainable Mobility for All (SuM4All) initiative led by the World Bank and bringing around the table 55 leading stakeholders from the transport sector. She has served as a Steering Committee Member and currently co-leads the WG on data sharing.
